There are just 60 days left to purchase commemorative bricks for the Lynchburg Police Foundation’s Honor Garden, which will be located at the new Lynchburg Police headquarters. To ensure that our bricks are included in the construction, sales will end on August 1, 2024!

Once completed, this beautiful garden will pay tribute to 220 years of law enforcement in Lynchburg, honoring the past, present, and future of all the brave men and women who have served our community, including citizens, businesses, churches, schools, colleges, and civic organizations.
The Honor Garden will represent our community in the Community Garden and honor our officers through the Memorial Garden. The garden will:
Pay tribute to the four officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
Honor the original seven officers of 1805, who were known as Watchmen.
Showcase the 200th anniversary Memorial, relocated to the Honor Garden.
House the relocated 2005 time capsule and include a new 2025 time capsule.
Feature 19th century cobblestones from Downtown Lynchburg streets that will curb the garden.
Include park benches, a 20’x6’ water feature, and almost life-size bronze lions.
Contain 2,000 various shrubbery.
