Last Chance to Purchase Bricks for the Honor Garden

There's just 30 days left to purchase a commemorative brick for the Lynchburg Police Department Honor Garden! To ensure we meet the manufacturer’s deadline, brick sales will end on August 1, 2024.

This beautifully landscaped architectural garden will honor 220 years of law enforcement in Lynchburg. The Honor Garden will celebrate the past, present, and future of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve the citizens and businesses of Lynchburg.

Key features of the Honor Garden include:

  • Paying tribute to the four officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.

  • Honoring the original seven officers of 1805, known as the Watchmen.

  • Relocating the 200th anniversary Memorial to the Honor Garden.

  • Relocating the 2005 time capsule and placing a new 2025 time capsule.

  • Curbing the garden with 19th-century cobblestones from the streets of downtown Lynchburg.

The 4,000 sq. ft. garden will feature park benches, a 20’x6’ water feature, near life-size bronze lions, and more than 2,000 individual shrubs!

Don’t wait! Purchase your brick(s) today by visiting polarengraving.com/lynchburgpolicefoundation.

By doing so, you’ll be contributing to a lasting tribute to the dedication and service of Lynchburg’s law enforcement officers.
