LPF Hosts Annual Donor/Sponsor Appreciation Cookout

The LPF held its annual event to recognize its many donors and sponsors, September 2, at the LPD Firing Range and Training Center. Despite having record temperatures of more than 100 degrees, an estimated 200 people attended the event. The food was donated and prepared by Lone Wolf Catering (Todd and Becky Jones) and surpassed everyone's expectations! Kona Ice was available and Sweet Fox Bakery generously donated the after-dinner treats!

The LPD drone program was demonstrated and the tactical team demonstrated its skills using its newest tactical vehicle. Physical training is important to the tactical team and a competition showed the observers the extensive workout the tactical team goes through to remain in physical shape. Finally, a hit with the children was a demonstration by an LPD K-9 and its handler.
