LPD Retiree Social Largest Held to Date

The Lynchburg Police Foundation hosted the annual LPD Retirement Social in the LPD Community Room, July 30. An estimated 100 people attended including LPD retirees and guests, LPD officers and LPF Board Members. 

In addition to recognizing the current retirees and remembering those who had passed, Delta Star presented the LPF with a $35,000 check as a sponsor of the bronze canine statue to be placed in the future K-9 Garden. Delta Star also sponsored the Retiree Social event. The Foundation is honored to have such a generous and new sponsor!

Lastly, retired LPD employees who attended the event could apply for their new identification cards and retiree badges.
