Captain Léger Celebrates 25 Years of Service

Lynchburg Police Department’s Captain Léger recently marked 25 years of service.

Throughout his career, Captain Léger has served in many roles including Crisis and Negotiations, FTO, Bike Officer, and PIO, and he currently serves as Acting Deputy Chief. He also played an important role in bringing the new LPD Headquarters project to completion.

Beyond the department, Captain Léger has been a strong supporter of the Lynchburg Area Youth Sports Initiative (LAYSI), helping create opportunities for local youth through sports, mentorship, and community events.
