Drone Program

The LPF provided a generous donation to implement a new Unmanned Aircraft Systems Unit at the LPD. This funding included the purchase of an industry-leading drone and accessories as well as appropriate training for members of this new unit. The drone has already been used for several searches and in critical incidents. It serves as a critical tool for protecting the safety of both our officers and our community.
