Service Recognition - 15 Years of Chief Animal Warden Ryan Ball

Please join us in recognizing Chief Animal Warden Ryan Ball for 15 years of service to the City of Lynchburg and the Lynchburg Police Department.

Over the course of his career, Chief Ball has served as an Animal Warden, Police Officer, and, since 2017, as Chief of the Animal Control Unit. His commitment to public service is matched by his deep concern for the well-being of the animals in our community. From rescuing injured wildlife to ensuring the safety of stray and neglected pets, Chief Ball has played a direct role in saving countless animal lives and improving conditions for animals across our community.
