LPF SUPPORTS JUVENILE INTERVIEW ROOM
The Lynchburg Police Department understands that for some victims, sharing their story can mean reliving one of the most difficult moments of their lives. The new headquarters now includes two dedicated, victim-centered spaces (adult and juvenile) designed to provide comfort, care and dignity during that process.
These rooms are safe, thoughtfully designed areas for special victims of crime. Every detail focuses on helping individuals feel more at ease while prioritizing their security and emotional well-being during a time that can be overwhelming.
These rooms exist to remind victims that they are seen, supported, and not alone, and that their experience matters.
Thanks to Detective Bond for her dedication and hard work in helping bring the Adult and Juvenile spaces to life.
With support from Mustaches for Kids - M4K Lynchburg and Schewels Home Timberlake, the Lynchburg Police Foundation is proud to have been a sponsor of the Juvenile Room.
