LPF Hosts 2025 Retiree Social at New LPD

The Lynchburg Police Foundation recently hosted its 2025 Retiree Social for LPD retirees, guests and attending police officers. Approximately 75 people attended the event, which was held in the new Community Room at LPD. Katrina Bohm, LPF President, welcomed the retirees. A presentation was made to LPD Chief Ryan Zuidema by Greg Kirby of the 715 Moose Lodge. Kirby and his son designed and built a police car replica with working lights. Immediate Past President Eugene Wingfield provided an update on the Honor Garden. Following the reception, guests were invited to tour the new police headquarters.
