Sponsoring Contribution
Your contribution is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to personally show your support. The names of donors will be permanently listed on the grounds of the garden. Contributions of $100 to $1,000 will be recognized on brick pavers that wind throughout the garden. Contributions of $2,500 to $100,000 plus will be exhibited in various ways on our donor walls.
In addition to funding construction of the Honor Garden your donation will allow the Lynchburg Police Foundation to create a reserve fund to supplement our annual contributions and ensure that the resources are available to continue supporting the Lynchburg Police Department as our community grows.
$2,500 funds neighborhood picnics and other engagement activities for the Community Action Team for an entire year.
$10,000 supports special events such as the Retired Officer Recognition Social and Breakfast with Santa for children/grandchildren of officers, staff and retired officers.
$10,000 funds the officer awards and recognition programs for an entire year.
$15,000 sponsors the annual awards banquet for officers and professional staff held during National Police Week.
$25,000 sends a senior officer to an advanced executive leadership program.
$50,000 provides initial funding for a new, innovative, enhanced-officer safety program like the recently initiated drone program.
$75,000 creates multi-year funding for a new service similar to the recently initiated We Care Program, which provides scholarships and other financial educational support to the dependents of officers and professional staff of the Lynchburg Police Department.
